I'm a much older women whose daughter had her read this and his other book, "Think Like a Lady, Act Like a Man" and they are both great. I laughed a lot because EVERYTHING he says is true. Girls and women nowadays would do well to read this. He's got it right.
Steve Harvey's books are very helpful and tell you the truth even if it stings. This book and his others helped me with previous and current relationships. Prior to reading his books I did not understand men at all. After reading them, everything came together. This one, in particular, allowed me to stay on the path that would help me to maintain current relationships and is great to read after his other book(s).
Great topics and tips for women who want to understand men better. Surprised it was so inexpensive. Targeted to women who are just getting out into the dating scene, those who are actively dating, and those who are already in relationships. Men may not want to admit it, but there's a lot of truth to what Mr. Harvey reveals in this book. This book keeps women "up on game" so that they may not only protect themselves from the games that some men play, but that they may receive the things that they desire in their love life, without getting in their own way.
Came quickly and in perfect condition. I was able to gain a different perspective on men, from Act like a lady, think like a man. So this led me to want to gain more knowledge from this book as well. I have just begun and so far he mostly re-illustrates some of the information given in the 1st book.I think that every woman who ever tried to understand a man but couldn't needs to read a book like this one. It really shows that men haven't changed but we as women are constantly evolving. You need to understand the way a man thinks on a basic level in order to relate to them, thats the key. And this book gives you that and more.I think Steve and Denene need to come out with a book on fatherhood.
Beyond a doubt this book deserves a five star rating. The narration by SH himself was ingenious, it made the pages come live. I appreciated the directness. He just made sense. I would recommend every woman who is interested in her man and wanting to keep her man and herself happy to read this book and put into practice what she reads.
There are tips in here every woman needs to hear. Although I disagree with some of the things mentioned in the book pertaining to "presentation" as he calls it, putting in the extra effort to look good daily or whatever, this book has alot of good pointers
Excellent! Ladies, Listen Steve Harvey broke all the rules by sharing and giving a closer look on how men operate and thinks. I have learned a lot even thought I am married it applies to every woman in a relationship. The golden rule ladies "MUST" have standards and requirements with men or partner in general.... Period; Think Like a Man ~ Act Like a Lady!!!
Great book. I am applying the information provided where applicable to me in life and for sure, I am seeing results. For example, dressing good before leaving the house for my classes or church or grocery store, I have noticed guys looking and smiling at me. The other principle I have applied and it is working is knowing the guys' age and what they are looking for. I attract young guys but they just don't have it together especially under 30 years. Therefore, I have cut off the communications with the all who are attracted to me but they don't have their 3 things met "Know who they are, earn the status of being able to provide and know who they are." Great book
